What’s the very latest news from ROC? Well, we’ve been finding out what our people have to say about working at ROC, and the team has been picking up accolades at the National Forecourt Trader Awards.

Are we a good employer…?
According to our team, the answer is a resounding yes. Back in April 2010, we sent out a survey to our 3,872 employees – 2,336 responded (60%). 80% of those who responded said that they enjoy working for ROC, and we were pleased to hear that 84% feel safe at work, 86% feel they can express views and ask questions of their manager, and a whopping 87% feel they’ve received the training they need. It all adds up to a good local job from a large UK-wide-employer, we think!

Forecourt Trader Awards
ROC people are enjoying recognition in the wider world of retail, too. Our Star Store Manager Marcel Grabowski picked up three awards this year for Hot Beverages, Crisp & Snacks, and Neighbourhood Supermarket in the national Forecourt Trader Awards. Other Star Store Managers include Barry Roswel who won Best Motorway Site, and Dan Hall who popped open the bubbles with a win in Soft Drinks.
