Sales Advisor Training & Development

Join us as a Sales Advisor, and enjoy plenty of help finding your feet. The very first thing you’ll do as a Sales Advisor is spend two days learning the ropes at a specialist training site. This comprehensive induction will fill you in on all the safety procedures and basics of the role, before you head back to your store, for on-going training with your Store Manager. You’ll then work though a progression tool – it will see you gain new competencies, moving up the Sales Advisor gradings.

Basic training
Basic training covers the following areas:
• Customer service
• Food handling
• First Aid and emergencies
• Health and Safety
• Practical procedures
• Money matters and tills
• Restricted products – cigarettes and alcohol

Need extra help?
If you’ve completed basic training, but need a helping hand, don’t be afraid to ask. It’s much better to admit you’re finding something tough than make a mistake, especially in an environment where safety and service are really important.
